THE PIED PIPER

Inspired by the classic fairy tale, a traveling toy maker and his brothers are falsely accused of bringing a plague of rats into the town of Hamelin. In the end, they manage to prove their innocence and, not only unmask the true villain, the Pied Piper, but also rescue the town’s children.

MAX HOWARD created and ran studios for Disney in London, Paris, Orlando and Los Angeles, working on some of Disney’s most memorable films including WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT, THE LITTLE MERMAID, THE RESCUER’S DOWN UNDER, MICKEY’S PRINCE AND THE PAUPER, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, ALADDIN, THE LION KING and, POCAHONTAS. As President of Warner Bros Feature Animation he oversaw such hit movies as THE IRON GIANT and SPACE JAM. At DreamWorks Animation, he was co-executive producer for SPIRIT, STALLION OF THE CIMARRON. Max is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, and the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. He has just been honored with an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Teesside for his services to the Arts.

The classic fairy tale of The Pied Piper of Hamelin is now in Pre Production with veteran Disney and DreamWorks animation producer Max Howard driving the entertaining feature length animated motion picture.

The first stage of Pre Production is complete with an excellent script that has taken the classic Pied Piper short tale and developed it into a full length feature with fantastic adventure and dramatic magical sequences and songs.
